Enjoying the warmth

For the last week or so we've just been enjoying being here. The temps are in the 80s every day and mostly sunny. We've been playing pickleball, walking on the beach, reading, and relaxing. Our friends, the Jensens and the Leslies drove down from Fort Myers to join us for lunch at the Sunset Grille. It was great to see them and catch up.

We've also seen some burrowing owls, which are fairly common here and live here year-round. They are small (8-10") ground nesting owls that are active in the daytime.

We went to a concert at Mackle Park on Sunday afternoon. Tonight we're going to a concert featuring Broadway show tunes. Just having fun!

We also have started planning our trip back home. Only six more days to go...
